We drove to Kokee State park which is about 10 o'clock on this map and a bit inland. It is only about 70 miles from Princeville but it took us about 2.5 hours to get there. We camped at Kokee and planned to hike the swamp and visit the canyon.

Just seeing the map brings back some great memories! Waimea Canyon is gorgeous and I hope I get to see it again someday. Meanwhile, your photos will have to suffice.
