The fruits of our labor. Actually, another plate of sushi is still to come. On the sashimi the deep red is Ahi (tuna) and the pale orange is salmon.
I have to say, I appreciate the efforts of sushi makers now but I think our homemade was much better than any I have ever had in a restuarant because, I think, everything was as fresh as you can get. Well worth the effort.
